The Freedom to Inhabit...
In Between the Sun and the Soil
Many cultures around the world see people as inhabiting three basic worlds: the upper, the middle, and the lower. Disconnected from our most aware self, the Sun, and cut off from our vital primary energy, the Soil, we in the contemporary world have become isolated from our essential nature.
Zayin's work, much like that of the bird in the window, is to call out to that nature, to recover it, and to help set it free...
Standing in the middle world of our particular expression and that of our community, between the Sun and the Soil, we tend to take the processes of life for granted. By building relationships with the upper world of the Sun and lower world of the Soil, we can stand in middle as gardeners... free as a bird.
As active participants in our own unique flowering, we can also take positive steps towards nurturing the world we want to live in.
Our work in this place is to re-establish these connections which are necessary for us to grow and transform into our most natural selves. Blending the various practices you will see here, Zayin introduces clients to Spirit and Life, the Sun and the Soil, while remaining grounded in community.
In order to live out our natural lives, we must travel through and with all three of these worlds. By building relationships with the upper and the lower, we become gardeners of ourselves and the middle... and we find ourselves enjoying the Freedom to Inhabit...
The Sun...
In order to realize the freedom necessary to inhabit this life we must integrateswhat has come before, by way of participating in what is new. Through deep listening and direct connection, we learn to act as a mediator between our everyday experience, spiritual realities, and the natural world. A Gardener (see below) like Zayin creates the sacred space for us to re-establish and grow new relationships with the upper world, Spirit, the Sun.
The Gardener...
Become your own Soul Gardener. Zayin uses the metaphor of Gardening to think of his work because that is what we are destined to become... Gardeners of ourselves, this Earth, and the communities we call home. The Freedom to Inhabit is not meant to act as a path, but rather a means to empowering you to become your own best resource. Working with Zayin you will learn to nurture your connection to Life, to the Sun and the Soil, providing you with new tools as you continue your own process of healing and transformation.
The Soil...
The Freedom to Inhabit starts where we are - in the body, on the Earth, with our souls. We have lost contact with place and the very essence of Life. When working with individuals, this is primarily where our Gardening begins. We start to remember ourselves, and in the process begin to build relationship with the world around us, both human and more-than-human
